The Humblet family was in search of a site to build a new brewery & continue their tradition and long list of beers brewed by their father, Benoit Humblet.

For 5 generations, Brewery Omer Vander Ghinste is a family brewery that brews quality beers according to authentic recipes, in the traditional way but with the application of the most modern techniques.

Belgo Sapiens are 4 partner investors. A passionate, creative and accomplished team of Brewers, Master Brewers and Engineers. They have a combined experience of over 25 years of brewing across the globe and have traveled the world to learn from a diversity of brewing cultures.

Could you envision committing to something for over 160 years? There are only two outcomes: Either you squander your time or you evolve into a genuine expert in your craft. Over 160 years ago, we embarked on brewing our beer, and the reality is, we've become quite adept at it.

Ambar is born from the inspired idea of a group of friends to give an outlet to the abundant and excellent barley of Aragon. La Zaragozana, a brewery of the highest quality beers, was founded.

“The brewery Les 3 Fourquets was founded in 2003, initially supplying kegs of malted beverages to a nearby pub, and in 2007 it created a new beer, Lupulus, offered in both champagne bottles and kegs for regional distribution. These beers, which have become icons in the province of Luxembourg, were envisioned by Pierre Gobron—founder of L’Achouffe—together with his sons Julien and Tim and their team, and in 2016 the brewery Les 3 Fourquets officially became the Lupulus Brewery. The brewers’ ambition has always been to craft beer in strict accordance with tradition while adding distinctive new aromatic and flavour nuances using some of the most modern brewing equipment in Belgium, and the exceptional setting of the brewery continues to inspire these ‘barley craftsmen’ as the Lupulus range expands with ever more flavours and moments of celebration.”

The process of brewing beer hasn’t changed much since we started back in 1777. And neither has our unique approach to crafting characterful beer. But our equipment most certainly has. Our state-of-the-art, independent, family-owned brewery now stands proudly alongside our old brewery on the banks of the River Stour in Blandford, Dorset. Using the finest ingredients and over 240 years of expertise, our brewers create beer that brims with flavour.
